Welcome to the New England Airstream Club, a local chapter of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International, Inc. (WBCCI), a club for owners of Airstream motor homes, trailers and B-Vans.
The WBCCI is made up of 12 regions throughout the USA and Canada. Our NEAC is part of Region One, which includes the geographic area of New England, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, Canada.
60th2-1 NEAC members come from all six New England states and beyond, although any adult who owns an Airstream may join our unit. Many of our members have vintage trailers and are also members of the Vintage Airstream Club.
Our membership is diverse in age, professions, and interests. What we have in common is a love of travel, adventure and making new friends, along with owning one of the most classic of American RV products, the Airstream camper.
The NEAC members enjoy a full year of activities. We host rallies and caravans from May through October, then host luncheons and holiday parties through the winter months. We also publish a monthly newsletter with notices of upcoming events and articles of interest to the Airstream owner.
Are you the new owner of an Airstream? The New England Airstream Club invites you to join and start taking part in our rallies and caravans. The NEAC members are working to create enjoyable and relaxing events that allow for individual interests and activities with the security of camping and traveling with friends. The dream of fun, fellowship, and adventure in your Airstream is just around the corner.

About the WBCCI

WBCCI is the RV club of Airstream owners. It is named for Wally Byam who was the inventor of the Airstream travel trailer. It is a nonprofit organization with headquarters in Jackson Center, Ohio. To be a member and participate in club activities, you must own a self-contained recreational vehicle made by Airstream Inc. – also located in Jackson Center, Ohio.
In 1951, Wally Byam conducted the first group RV tour (caravan) in history. He did it to encourage people to get out and use their travel trailers, to see and enjoy the world around them, and to provide a test environment for the travel trailers he manufactured.
This first caravan traveled to Mexico. Wally continued his caravan activity and eventually operated caravans that traveled almost everywhere in the world. It was on one of these caravans to Eastern Canada in 1955 that the Wally Byam Caravan Club International was formed.
The goal of the club was to foster fun, fellowship, and adventure as members enjoyed the lifestyle offered by traveling in an Airstream. As the club grew (to more than 25,000 members at one point), more management and organization was required. An organization with unit (local), regional (several states), and national (the whole club) levels was created to better respond to the members’ needs.
If you own any trailer or motorhome manufactured by Airstream, Inc., WBCCI offers you fun and exciting opportunities to enjoy your Airstream and the RV lifestyle. Whether you are traveling with your children or have retired to travel the world, you can do it best in the oldest and finest RV association, the Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI).
